Anita Briem has been an actor in Iceland for more than 20 years. She is famous for her character as Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series on television The Tudors and for her character as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem's acting career began in the National Theater Iceland when she was just nine years old. Briem was an actress in Iceland as a kid. Briem, then 16, relocated to London and participated in an production called Lenin In Love at the New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the highly regarded Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) which is which she attended for three years. She obtained a diploma in dramatics and the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight.
